POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the VP of Finance and Accounting, this position is responsible for managing all payroll related activities for the company.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Supervise and oversee the timely and accurate processing of weekly and bi-weekly payrolls Review time entered by employees for accuracy and compliance with company policy Prepare tax deposits and returns as required for monthly, semi-monthly, quarterly, and annual federal and multi states Prepare and reconcile payroll liability accounts Review and implement payroll specific requirements of Union CBA's Assist employees with questions regarding paychecks, deductions, or garnishments Assist with special projects as needed Performs incidental tasks related to the position as well as various duties, as assigned, to support the overall objectives/goals of the team while maintaining a positive attitude
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree preferred and/or 5+ years' experience processing payroll Experience with Service Contract Act, Davis Bacon, and Union CBA's preferred Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams, and a data collaboration tool such as SharePoint Deltek Costpoint experience preferred UKG experience preferred Experience with Alaska Native Corporations and government contracting preferred but not required Ability to pass a background and drug screening
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
The majority of work is performed in an office setting and interfaces with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities and abilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The work is generally sedentary, requiring routine walking, standing, bending and carrying items weighing up to 25 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
