We are a fast-paced immigration law firm managing hundreds of active cases. We are hiring a Legal Operations Manager to drive execution, enforce accountability, and ensure cases move forward without unnecessary delay. If you are someone who waits for direction, avoids conflict, or prefers purely task-based work, this role will not be a fit. If you take ownership, follow up relentlessly, and push things across the finish line, keep reading. What You Will Own You will sit at the center of operations and be responsible for making sure work actually gets done across the firm. Case Progress & Accountability
  • Identify stalled or inactive cases and push them forward
  • Follow up with paralegals on deadlines, client communication, and next steps
  • Ensure monthly client updates are completed
  • Flag urgent issues before they become problems (missed deadlines, aging cases, etc.) Client Escalations
  • Handle client concerns, delays, and complaints
  • De-escalate issues and coordinate internally to get answers
  • Prevent problems from turning into refunds or negative reviews Vendor & Payroll Coordination
  • Manage communication with vendors and contractors
  • Work with payroll providers to process payroll and resolve issues
  • Handle back-and-forth with outside service providers so attorneys and staff can stay focused Cross-Team Coordination
  • Bridge communication between intake, paralegals, attorneys, and finance
  • Ensure nothing gets stuck waiting on another department
  • Push issues to resolution instead of letting them sit What Success Looks Like
  • Cases move consistently and do not sit untouched
  • Staff follow through on responsibilities
  • Clients feel informed and supported
  • Problems are identified early—not after damage is done
  • The attorneys are not pulled into day-to-day operational fires Requirements
  • Strong follow-up and accountability skills (you do not drop things)
  • Comfortable addressing issues directly with staff and vendors
  • Highly organized with the ability to track multiple moving parts
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to prioritize urgency vs importance in a fast-moving environment Preferred
  • Experience in a law firm or professional services environment
  • Experience working with case management systems (e.g., Docketwise, Clio)
  • Experience coordinating payroll or working with payroll providers
Compensation Base Salary:
$65,000
  • $75,000
Performance Bonus:
