$80,000 - $100,000 annually About the Rol eWe are seeking an experienced Payroll Supervisor to join our team in Long Beach, CA. This role is heavily focused on payroll administration, with approximately 80% of responsibilities dedicated to managing full-cycle payroll and 20% supporting HR functions. The ideal candidate will be a payroll expert with strong union payroll experience, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment .This position is ideal for a sharp, tech-savvy professional who has extensive experience processing multi-state payroll and can confidently manage complex union payroll operations .Key Responsibilitie sPayroll (80% )Process full-cycle weekly payroll accurately and timely for a multi-state workforce .Administer union payroll, ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements and company policies .Maintain payroll records and employee earnings, deductions, garnishments, and benefits information .Audit payroll transactions and resolve discrepancies .Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations .Generate payroll reports and support payroll-related audits .Partner with management and employees to address payroll inquiries .Human Resources (20% )Assist with benefits administration, including employee enrollments, changes, and terminations .Maintain employee records and HR documentation .Support HR processes and employee communications .Assist with HRIS data management and reporting .Required Qualification s5+ years of payroll experience with strong full-cycle payroll expertise .Extensive experience processing union payroll (non-certified/non-prevailing wage) .Experience managing multi-state payroll .Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN) and/or Mitratech (Miter) .Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel .Strong knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices .Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills .Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality .Preferred Qualification sExperience with certified payroll .HRIS administration experience .Benefits administration experience .Prior supervisory or leadership experience .
