We are looking for an experienced and driven Payroll Manager to lead and enhance the payroll operations for a well-established healthcare organization. This role requires an individual with a strong background in payroll systems, compliance, and team leadership, who can embrace technological advancements and process improvements. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor a team of 5 payroll specialists to ensure efficient and accurate payroll operations.
  • Oversee payroll processing for the organization, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and labor regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with HR and Finance departments to align compensation policies, benefits deductions, and reporting practices.
  • Review, audit, and approve payroll reports and reconciliations for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain and optimize payroll systems, recommending and implementing software upgrades as needed.
  • Address and resolve employee payroll inquiries, discrepancies, and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Ensure timely submission of payroll-related filings and reports to regulatory agencies.
  • Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures to improve efficiency and ensure compliance.
  • Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and best practices to keep the organization compliant.
