Weeks Contract Pay:

$35 - $38.4/hr (DOE) The Planet Group is seeking a highly experienced Payroll Processor IV to support payroll processing and system testing efforts for Project OneLink. This is a project?based role focused on Workday Payroll testing and validation, ensuring payroll accuracy without impacting production cycles. The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of payroll processing experience, strong expertise in Workday Payroll, and hands?on experience supporting unit, end?to?end, and parallel payroll testing. This role involves executing retro pay calculations, validating gross?to?net results, managing payroll integration files, and resolving payroll discrepancies in high?volume environments.

Qualifications:

5+ years of payroll processing experience Strong Workday Payroll expertise Payroll testing experience in high?volume environments Proven ability to support testing without disrupting production payroll

Preferred:

Experience with UKG Pro WFM ERP or Workday system implementation experience

Responsibilities:

Execute and validate Workday Payroll processes including retro processing, absence (PTO, ESL), and payroll balancing Support unit, end?to?end, and parallel payroll testing cycles Run and validate gross?to?net payroll calculations Load, manage, and validate payroll integration files Analyze and resolve payroll discrepancies across test scenarios Document test cases, results, and defects Collaborate with HRIS, Finance, and IT teams to ensure system readiness
