Senior Payroll Manager Salary:
$125-150K base + bonus

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness across all payroll cycles Oversee prevailing wage payroll administration, ensuring strict adherence to federal, state, and local requirements Supervise payroll staff, including training, workflow management, and performance oversight Maintain and improve payroll systems, processes, and internal controls to support scalability and accuracy Ensure compliance with all payroll-related regulations, including tax filings, deductions, garnishments, and wage and hour laws Coordinate and support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and ensuring data integrity Partner with HR, Finance, and leadership to support payroll strategy, reporting, and continuous process improvement
Qualifications:
7+ years of payroll experience with prior leadership or supervisory responsibility in a multi-state environment Strong, hands-on expertise in prevailing wage payroll is required, including processing, compliance, and reporting Experience in construction, manufacturing, or similarly complex payroll environments strongly preferred Proven ability to oversee payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of all payroll transactions Solid understanding of payroll taxes, wage and hour laws, deductions, and multi-jurisdiction compliance requirements Experience supervising or mentoring payroll staff and supporting day-to-day operational workflow Proficiency with payroll systems and Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to identify and support system/process improvements #LI-LJ1 #
