Job Description
Payroll Manager A well-established organization located in Harford County, MD is looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to take ownership of a high-volume, multi-state payroll operation. This is a full-time, direct hire role for someone who knows the work and is ready to lead it. Responsibilities Oversee the semi-monthly payroll cycle for 500+ employees across multiple states Manage benefits administration alongside state and federal tax filing requirements Process and review payroll audit reports to ensure accuracy and compliance Maintain complete and organized payroll records and documentation Serve as a resource for employee and management questions related to payroll Train management on ADP system responsibilities Produce payroll and staffing reports for executive leadership Document and maintain payroll procedures Qualifications Demonstrated experience managing multi-state payroll in a complex pay structure environment Proficiency in Excel, including customized reporting ADP Workforce Now experience preferred What My Client Offers Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage Life and Disability benefits Paid Time Off 401(k) and ROTH retirement plans Apply today for immediate consideration
