Responsible for managing the staff in preparation, transmission, and distribution of all payrolls within the payroll system. Assures correct and accurate maintenance of earnings and deduction records and all legally required federal, state and local taxes, Social Security contributions, and other deductions are withheld from individual Provides constant communication of service issues to appropriate personnel and departments. Manages Driver and Corporate payroll and ensures they are accurate and paid timely. Provides communication in regards to payroll related questions to internal departments. Creates, reviews, and analyses all steps of the payroll process to ensure accurate and timely completion of payroll processing and transactions. Ensures that all payroll interfaces and uploads are accurate and supported by key controls. Executes payroll Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in order to provide consistency in this practice. Will act as main point of contact for our Driver Managers in order to resolve issues and provide timely feedback. Point of contact for payroll customer service; investigates and resolves payroll related issues providing a high level of customer service to employees and other departments. Ensures compliance with current government regulations and ensures government reporting is accurate. Assists in the development, upgrades, testing, and maintenance of payroll functions within the HRIS computer systems with working knowledge of all related systems and functions. Recommends changes in payroll methods or procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the payroll function. Partners with human resource and finance teams in assigned duties and tasks as required. Hires, trains and develops other payroll staff members. Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting Certified payroll professional (CPP) is helpful At least five years 'payroll experience Proficiency in Microsoft Applications, enterprise resource planning (ERP) and/or automated payroll processing services Payroll processing systems is required, Ulti Pro is helpful Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills Strong supervisory skills Excellent customer service skills Strong attention to detail

Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights and weekends if needed We are excited to share that the base salary range for this position is $87,977.76 - 117,303.68 USD Annual. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, targeted at 3%. NFI takes into consideration applicants' qualifications, experience, education, and geographic location when determining a starting rate of pay.
