Client Overview Our client, a growing client in the professional services space, is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join their organization. Salary/Hourly Rate $100k - $110k Position Overview The Payroll Manager is a standalone role, for now, and will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees across various regions within the US. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with extensive knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements in multiple jurisdictions, and will oversee a team of at least 5. Responsibilities Of The Payroll Manager The Payroll Manager will manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees in different countries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Stay abreast of local, state, and international payroll laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with tax laws, labor regulations, and reporting requirements in all jurisdictions. The Payroll Manager will coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure accurate tax withholding, reporting, and compliance in each country. Payroll Manager will implement and maintain payroll systems, ensuring they meet the needs of the organization and comply with local regulations. Continuously assess and improve payroll processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. The Payroll Manager will prepare and review payroll reports, reconcile payroll accounts, and facilitate internal and external audits as needed. Work closely with HR, Finance, Legal, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination of payroll activities. Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to payroll, ensuring prompt and accurate resolution of issues. Required Experience/Skills For The Payroll Manager Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll management. Experience using ADP. In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements in multiple countries. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Professional certifications such as Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or equivalent are a plus. Preferred Experience/Skills For The Payroll Manager CPP is preferred, but not required. ADP WFN experience is preferred, but not required Education Requirements Associate's degree is preferred.
