1st Americare Inc 1st Americare Inc is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable HR / Payroll Coordinator to join our growing healthcare staffing team. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, professional, and experienced in handling employee records, payroll support, recruiting, and administrative tasks in a fast-paced office environment. The HR / Payroll Coordinator will assist with employee onboarding, payroll processing, staff communication, and daily HR operations to help support our caregivers, nurses, and office staff.
Responsibilities:
Assist with weekly payroll processing and timesheet verification Maintain employee files and onboarding documents Track employee attendance, call-outs, and scheduling updates Support recruiting efforts by posting job ads and screening applicants Coordinate interviews and onboarding appointments Ensure compliance with company policies and documentation requirements Communicate with employees regarding payroll, benefits, and HR-related questions Assist with audits, spreadsheets, and administrative reporting Provide general office and HR support as needed
Qualifications:
Previous HR, payroll, staffing, or administrative experience preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and phone etiquette Experience with payroll systems and Microsoft Excel preferred Ability to handle confidential information professionally Healthcare or home care experience is a plus Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
