Our client is a financial services firm looking for a Payroll Manager.

Job Description:

Ensure the processing of multi-state and expatriate payroll is accurate and timely Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely Maintain and audit payroll information through collecting, calculating, entering, and uploading data Update payroll records, entering changes in exemptions, deductions, employment status, and department/division transfers Recommend ways to improve and automate payroll processes Prepare reports, compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages Prepare tax documents firmwide Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information and responding in a timely matter

Core Competencies:

7+ years of experience in end to end payroll processing Bachelor's degree required Workday exp preferred Must have experience working in financial services (ideally hedge fund/private equity) Must have knowledge of Federal and State Tax regulations and laws The annual base salary range is $120,000 to $170,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
