Job Description:
Our client, a non-profit organization, is seeking a Temporary Payroll Manager to provide interim support for payroll and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will have extensive multi-state payroll administration experience, strong analytical skills, and hands-on experience with Paylocity.
Key Responsibilities:
Process semi-monthly payroll accurately and on schedule using Paylocity. Review and reconcile payroll data, including earnings, deductions, taxes, and benefit elections. Conduct detailed audits of payroll transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance. Reconcile all employee benefit deductions and coordinate with benefit providers to identify and resolve discrepancies. Review payroll reports and perform balancing and reconciliation activities prior to payroll transmission.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of payroll administration experience, preferably managing payroll for a multi-state workforce. Demonstrated experience processing payroll through Paylocity. Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and payroll best practices. Experience reconciling employee benefit deductions and retirement plan contributions. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting tools.
