Job Description:
About the Role Payroll Tax Manager Join our team as a Payroll Tax Manager and become a key player in ensuring our company's payroll tax processes are precise, compliant, and efficient. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to oversee federal, state, and local payroll tax remittances across multiple jurisdictions, supporting our growth in a fast-paced environment. If you're passionate about payroll tax compliance, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in collaborative settings, we want to hear from you!
Required Skills:
At least 5 years of experience with high-volume multi-state payroll tax processing. Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, especially in NY and CA. Experience with ADP Smart Compliance or other third-party payroll tax providers. Proven ability to handle notices and resolve payroll tax discrepancies. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in Excel and MS Office. Ability to maintain confidentiality and work under pressure. Nice to
Have Skills:
Experience with SAP ECP Payroll or other large-scale ERP systems. Past involvement with SOX testing and payroll system upgrades. Knowledge of wage reconciliations and employee equity reporting.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
