Benefits & Payroll Manager NRI, Inc. 401(k), retirement plan United States, Virginia, Arlington Jun 18, 2026 Seeking an experienced Benefits & Payroll Manager to oversee the administration and compliance of employee benefits, retirement plans, and multi-state payroll operations. This hands-on role requires expertise in health and welfare benefits, retirement plan administration, payroll compliance, and HR systems. The successful candidate will serve as the internal subject matter expert for retirement plans while ensuring accurate payroll processing and exceptional employee support. Responsibilities Administer health and welfare benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA/HSA, and employee assistance plans. Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, and related requirements. Coordinate annual open enrollment activities, employee communications, and benefit plan changes. Reconcile benefit data, payroll deductions, vendor invoices, and HRIS records. Administer retirement plans, including 401(k), 457(b), 457(f), and pension plans, ensuring compliance, reporting, and accurate plan administration. Manage end-to-end multi-state payroll processing, including tax compliance, deductions, supplemental pay, and retirement contributions. Conduct payroll audits, reconciliations, and issue resolution with payroll providers and vendors. Support employee leave and accommodation requests, including FMLA, ADA, and workers' compensation matters. Develop employee education materials and communications related to benefits and retirement programs. Maintain strong internal controls, documentation, and standard operating procedures. Provide exceptional employee support while handling confidential information with discretion.

Hybrid (In Office Tuesday - Thursday; Optional Remote Monday & Friday)
