Our portfolio includes a growing luxury salon group with 5 locations and more than 190 W-2 beauty professionals, managers, and support staff. Additional ventures include coworking spaces, residential properties, and short-term rentals. We are seeking an experienced Payroll & Accounting Manager to oversee payroll, accounting, and financial operations across the organization. Position Overview This role serves as the primary day-to-day financial lead for the parent company and its subsidiaries. Responsibilities are split between payroll and benefits administration - primarily supporting our high-volume salon operations - and multi-entity bookkeeping across the company's various businesses. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing both detailed payroll functions and broader accounting responsibilities while serving as the main point of contact for our external CPA. Core Responsibilities Manage bookkeeping, reconciliations, accounts payable, and intercompany transactions across multiple businesses Process payroll and benefits administration for 190+ employees across 5 salon locations Handle commissions, tips, deductions, and payroll compliance Support tax preparation, financial reporting, and CPA coordination Qualifications 4-7 years of bookkeeping and payroll experience in a multi-entity environment Strong QuickBooks Online, Excel, and payroll software skills Experience in salon, retail, hospitality, or restaurant industries preferred Detail-oriented, highly confidential, and able to work independently Education Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred Benefits Competitive salary Casual office environment Health, Dental & Vision Insurance 401(k) PTO and paid holidays Salon service and retail discounts This position is a hybrid position. 5eU75o20aI
