This position is eligible for health, dental, vision, and 401(k). Position Summary The Payroll Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day payroll administration for a multi-state workforce. This role ensures payroll is processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with all applicable laws and internal policies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced managing payroll processes in a high-volume setting. Primary Responsibilities Supervise and process payroll activities for employees located across multiple states. Maintain payroll systems and procedures to ensure accurate processing of wages, deductions, taxes, benefits, and related adjustments. Partner with HR and leadership teams regarding employee onboarding, status changes, compensation updates, and separations. Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and supporting documentation while maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality. Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and labor laws. Support audits and reporting requests by providing payroll records and documentation as needed. Recommend and implement payroll process improvements and system enhancements. Respond to employee payroll questions and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. Assist with additional administrative or accounting-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Experience overseeing multi-state payroll operations required. Strong understanding of payroll compliance, tax regulations, and reporting procedures. Proficiency with payroll systems and HR/payroll software platforms. Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
