Job Description:
Financial Additions is working with a growing advisory group looking for a Client Services - Payroll Manager.
Payroll Manager Responsibilities:
Oversee payroll processing, accounts payable functions, and recurring accounting workflows for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Prepare and review financial reports, reconcile payroll and AP-related accounts, and maintain accurate general ledger transactions. Manage client relationships through recurring meetings, project oversight, process improvements, and collaboration with accounting, tax, and assurance teams. Coach and develop team members, solve complex payroll and accounting issues, and ensure adherence to internal controls and information security standards.
Payroll Manager Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a minimum of 5 years of related payroll, accounting, or client advisory experience. Strong problem-solving and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple client deadlines effectively. Experience with payroll software platforms such as Paychex, Gusto, Paylocity, and ADP. Knowledge of payroll compliance, accounts payable processes, and familiarity with sales tax registrations and filings preferred.
