Job Description

Job Overview:
The Timekeeping Administrator Supervisor comprehensively understands various processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within the Timekeeping discipline. They can resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions and applying technical experience and precedents. The Timekeeping Administrator Supervisor analyzes available information to solve ongoing Timekeeping-specific problems. They directly impact the quality of tasks performed or services provided by the team.
Essential Qualifications and Education:
10+ years of relevant timekeeping experience. Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. Thorough understanding of timekeeping systems and software, with experience in implementation and administration. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements related to timekeeping and payroll. Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. #LI-CA1
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Know and understand the process and responsibilities of the Senior Principal Timekeeping Administrators. Supervise and lead a team of timekeeping administrators, providing guidance, coaching, and support. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the timekeeping department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data entry, verification, and reporting. Develop and implement timekeeping policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Train new team members on timekeeping processes, software, and company policies. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to foster professional growth and development. Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated issues and inquiries related to timekeeping. Collaborate with HR and payroll departments to address complex timekeeping issues and discrepancies. Coordinate with IT or software vendors to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize timekeeping systems. Ensure timely and accurate submission of payroll data to meet payroll processing deadlines. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in timekeeping and payroll administration.
