Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic HR/Payroll Manager to lead our human resources and payroll functions with energy and precision. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of employee management, payroll processing, compliance, and HR program implementation to foster a productive, compliant, and engaging workplace environment. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and a passion for optimizing human capital management processes to support organizational growth and employee success. Duties Manage end-to-end payroll operations using systems such as ADP, Paychex, Workday, or equivalent HRIS platforms, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in payroll processing. Lead talent acquisition efforts by developing sourcing strategies, conducting interviews, and managing onboarding processes to attract top talent. Oversee employee relations initiatives, including employee orientation, performance management, conflict resolution, and employee evaluation programs. Ensure compliance with employment laws such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), workers' compensation regulations, and labor law requirements across all HR functions. Develop and implement HR policies related to benefits administration, contracts, succession planning, organizational design, and process improvement initiatives. Conduct data analysis for HR metrics using tools like Oracle HCM or UltiPro to inform strategic planning and decision-making. Manage HR projects including change management initiatives, program management efforts, and HR sourcing strategies to optimize organizational effectiveness. Qualifications Proven experience in human resources management with supervisory experience in leading HR teams. Extensive knowledge of payroll systems such as ADP, Quick Books, Paychex, Dayforce, Kronos, UltiPro, or equivalent platforms like SAP SuccessFactors or PeopleSoft. Strong understanding of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, workers' compensation policies, and benefits administration. Demonstrated skills in negotiation, conflict management, strategic planning, and process improvement. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to senior leadership and staff alike. Experience with HRIS systems including Workday, Oracle HCM, ADP, Paylocity or Ceridian is highly desirable. Ability to analyze data collection efforts for HR metrics and utilize data analysis skills for continuous improvement initiatives. Familiarity with recruiting tools such as ATS platforms. Pay:
$59,932.32 - $72,176.55 per year
