$100K + Full Benefits Position Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven HRIS & Payroll Supervisor to lead payroll operations and HR systems reporting. This role is ideal for a professional with strong HRIS reporting, payroll processing, and team leadership experience who thrives in a fast-paced, accuracy-focused environment. As a key leader, you will oversee HRIS data integrity, payroll accuracy, reporting analytics, and system optimization , ensuring compliance and delivering actionable insights that support business decisions. This is a highly visible role requiring collaboration across HR, Finance, and business leadership teams . Key Responsibilities Lead HRIS reporting and analytics , ensuring accurate, timely, and actionable insights for stakeholders Oversee data integrity and governance within HRIS and payroll systems Manage and supervise end-to-end payroll processing , ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Review and approve payroll calculations, adjustments, and audits with a high degree of accuracy Drive system enhancements, upgrades, testing, and configuration changes within HRIS platforms Translate complex data into clear business insights to support strategic decision-making Lead year-end payroll activities , including W-2 processing, reporting, and audits Partner cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and leadership teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes Supervise, mentor, and develop team members, ensuring consistent execution of HRIS and payroll processes Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency Required Skills / Education Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field Strong experience in HRIS reporting and data analysis (critical requirement) Proven leadership experience with team management or supervision Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis) Experience managing payroll operations (multi-state preferred) Knowledge of HRIS systems (UKG preferred) Experience with reporting tools such as IBM Cognos or similar platforms Familiarity with SQL, SQR, or other data query/reporting tools (preferred) Strong understanding of payroll compliance, audits, and regulatory requirements Preferred Qualifications Experience optimizing HRIS systems and payroll workflows Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and present data clearly Experience working in cross-functional, enterprise environments Why This Role Stands Out High-impact leadership role with visibility across HR and Finance Opportunity to drive data-driven HR transformation and reporting excellence Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits Collaborative and growth-oriented work environment About Seneca Resources At Seneca Resources, we are more than just a staffing and consulting firm—we are a trusted career partner.
