This leadership role will oversee enterprise payroll operations across a large, multi-state workforce and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing nationwide. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in multi-state payroll, payroll tax and compliance, union payroll administration, and payroll systems leadership. This person will lead payroll operations, drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and partner cross-functionally with HR, Finance, IT, and Operations.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading enterprise payroll operations and payroll staff Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations Managing union and project-based payroll requirements Overseeing payroll systems, UKG enhancements, and process automation initiatives Driving payroll accuracy, audit readiness, and operational efficiencies
Qualifications:
10+ years of progressive payroll experience in complex, multi-state environments 5+ years of payroll leadership experience Strong knowledge of payroll tax, compliance, and union payroll administration Experience with UKG and payroll system integrations preferred CPP certification is a plus This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic payroll leader who enjoys improving processes, building teams, and supporting a fast-paced operational environment.
Pay:
$100,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
