Job Description

Job Summary for
Payroll Administrator/Processor:
The Payroll Administrator will process weekly payroll and maintain employee time records, as well as assisting HR with clerical duties.

Payroll Administrator/Processor:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree in accounting or two years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping required. Experience in payroll processing is required. ADP experience is a plus.
Responsibilities of Payroll Administrator/Processor:
Enters and maintains information in the payroll system; information may include employees' hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes, and other information. Ensures proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, charitable contributions, garnishments/child support, benefit deductions and other payroll related information. Audits labor edit reports for payroll and attendance purposes. Keeps records of vacation due dates, sick time, and anniversary dates. Sends Performance Evaluations to supervisors/managers upon due date for completion. Tracks return. Tracks attendance, monthly perfect attendance, and annual perfect attendance. Enters pay changes, and employee direct deposit changes. Attaches new hire photos, and all employee documentation to electronic personnel files. Issues, or reissues, physical or replacement checks or direct deposits due to payroll errors or final discharge. Makes timely entries for terminations and notifications to HR Generalist of benefit cancellations.
Maintains Personnel Files Qualifications of Payroll Administrator/Processor:
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent math skills. Proficient with ADP payroll uploading and processing Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel or related software. Proficient with attendance and payroll tasks. Keep all information confidential and confined to the HR department.
