Job Description Our client, Resorts World Catskills is seeking to fill a Payroll Clerk in Monticello, NY. Payroll Clerk is responsible for processing all elements of payroll. This includes but is not limited to payroll reports, payroll corrections, calculations, timecard reviews. This position will report daily to 888 Resorts World Drive, Monticello

Essential Duties/Core Competencies Monitors and maintains the timely issuance of property payroll checks and assure the resolution of payroll related problems. Preforms daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly payroll reporting to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Ensures timely payment of employee's taxes. Reviews all requests for disbursement for proper authenticity and documentation. Ensures the distribution of paychecks or arranges direct deposit programs. Reviews and audit payroll records for accuracy and updates. Performs other tasks as assigned. Demonstrates consistent regard and dedication to guests, vendors, colleagues and the Company by being engaged, interested and productive Demonstrates a working knowledge of our marketplace; actively and collaboratively assists in building the best practices necessary for the Company's success Demonstrates an understanding of the impact actions and decisions have on the Company both financially and on guest relations Demonstrates the courage and initiative to present new ideas and perspective to create positive results Exhibits respectful consideration of viewpoints, situations and others Puts the guest at the forefront of every decision Work/Educational Experience Must be at least 18 years old and have the ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to the applicable statute, rules and regulations. High school diploma. GED, or relevant experience Prior experience as a payroll clerk preferred Knowledge of standard payroll processes
