Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Finance, complete bi- weekly payrolls including all related payroll tax deposits, process insurance payments, complete State Unemployment & Workers' Compensation worksheets and reports, and prepare schedules. A. Prepare semi-monthly payroll 1. Collect & check timesheets 2. Necessary leave statements attached & verified 3. Enter P/R in CYMA, check entries, run checks 4. Post P/R to General Ledger 5. Enter into A/P tax, support and insurance payments, run checks 6. Have all checks signed by two authorized signatories 7. Prepare checks for distribution or mailing 8. File all generated reports into locked cabinets B. Prepare monthly insurance & employee benefits schedules & payments 1. United Healthcare 2. Delta Dental 3. AFLAC Insurances 4. UNUM Disability 5. UNUM Term Insurance 6. Medical Life Insurance 7. LegalShield 8. Pet Insurance 9. File all generated reports into locked cabinets C. Prepare monthly schedules for : 1. State Unemployment & Workers' Comp 2. FLEX Allocation 3. Annuity Payment 4. FICA Allocation 5. File all generated reports into locked cabinets D. Quarterly P/R taxes 1.

Prepare federal and state tax reports 3. Prepare 5500's for FLEX and 401(k) 4. Payroll Reports/Audit requests 5. File all generated reports into locked cabinet
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required; minimum five years payroll experience; strong knowledge of Microsoft suite (especially Excel); knowledge of tax laws and payroll regulations is essential; knowledge of fringe benefit activities and accrual systems; ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity; strong problem-solving skills to resolve payroll discrepancies and issues; must be able to communicate and work well with others; must have a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
