Temp‑to‑hire with long‑term career potential About the Role We are seeking a detail‑oriented Certified Payroll Specialist to support prevailing wage and public works projects. This role manages weekly certified payroll reporting and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Temp‑to‑hire with long‑term growth potential. Key Responsibilities Certified Payroll Reporting — Prepare and submit weekly certified payroll reports for government contracts (hours, classifications, pay rates, fringe, gross wages). Compliance & Auditing — Support audits, reconciliations, and compliance with wage laws, union rules, SOX controls, and state/federal regulations. Payroll Processing — Full‑cycle payroll for high‑volume, multi‑client workforce including overtime, deductions, garnishments, and tax filings. Recordkeeping — Maintain accurate, audit‑ready payroll and timekeeping documentation. Partner with Talent Management, Accounting, Project Management, and Technology teams.
