Job Description:
Join our dynamic team as a Payroll Specialist, where you'll play a crucial role in managing multi-state payroll processes and supporting international operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment while ensuring compliance and accuracy in payroll management. Responsibilities Manage and process payroll for U.S. employees using outsourced payroll software. Verify and enter personnel changes into HR/Payroll systems. Establish and modify payroll earnings and deduction codes. Review time and attendance entries for non-exempt employees. Prepare payrolls for exempt and non-exempt employees, including special payrolls for bonuses. Submit payrolls for review and process garnishments as required. Coordinate payroll requirements for Employee Stock Purchase Plans and upload 401(k) withholdings. Prepare journal entries related to payroll and reconcile balance sheet accounts. Assist with international subsidiary payroll coordination. Support quarterly and annual external audit reviews and coordinate SOX activities. Skills Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in payroll management. Understanding of federal and state payroll regulations. Experience with general ledger and journal entries. Proficiency in Excel and Word. Familiarity with ERP systems. Strong communication skills and ability to handle sensitive information securely. High School Diploma required. Preferred Skills Experience with international payroll operations. Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
