Payroll Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to support a high-volume payroll environment for a growing organization in Hayward. This is a long-term contract opportunity with strong potential to convert to a full-time role. The ideal candidate has experience auditing large volumes of timecards and a solid understanding of California labor laws.

Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and audit high-volume employee timecards for accuracy and complianceReview payroll data including hours worked, overtime, meal/rest breaks, and pay codesEnsure payroll is processed in accordance with California labor laws and company policiesInvestigate and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely mannerPartner with HR and managers to verify timekeeping and employee recordsMaintain accurate payroll records and documentationAssist with payroll reporting and support audits as needed
