Job DescriptionJob Description Payroll Specialist (Bilingual Spanish) Vernon, CA (Onsite) Direct Hire Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our growing team in Vernon, CA. This onsite, direct-hire opportunity offers room for professional growth within a stable and evolving organization. The ideal candidate is bilingual in Spanish, highly proficient in Excel, tech-savvy, and experienced processing multi-state payroll for a large employee population. Key Responsibilities Process end-to-end payroll for 500+ multi-state employees on a regular payroll cycle Ensure accurate payroll calculations including wages, overtime, deductions, garnishments, and taxes Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations across multiple states Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner Partner with HR and Finance teams on payroll-related inquiries and audits Maintain accurate employee payroll records and documentation Support payroll system updates, process improvements, and automation initiatives Provide payroll support to employees, including bilingual assistance in Spanish and English Qualifications Proven experience processing payroll for 500+ employees, including multi-state payroll Bilingual in Spanish and English (required) Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis) Strong technical aptitude with payroll systems and HRIS platforms High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion Motivated, proactive, and eager to grow within the organization HR background or experience working closely with HR teams is a plus What We Offer Direct hire, onsite role in Vernon, CA Opportunity for career growth and advancement Collaborative and supportive team environment Competitive compensation and benefits package 401k, Medical, Dental, Holiday, PTO Salary between $75,000-$85,000
