In this vital role, you will manage comprehensive bookkeeping functions, ensure accurate financial record-keeping, and oversee payroll processing for our organization. Your expertise will support our commitment to financial integrity, compliance with accounting standards, and smooth operational workflows. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven organization that values precision, transparency, and efficiency. Duties Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms. Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account analysis, and account reconciliation to ensure the accuracy of financial data. Conduct bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations regularly to verify account accuracy. Process payroll using reliable payroll systems, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and proper deduction handling. Prepare detailed financial reports, including budget analysis, financial statements, and audit documentation. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial concepts such as double-entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and general ledger reconciliation. Handle account reconciliation tasks diligently to maintain integrity across all financial accounts. Maintain thorough documentation of all transactions and audit trails for transparency and accountability.

Qualifications Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms; familiarity with Quicken is a plus. Demonstrated expertise in bookkeeping tasks such as journal entries, account analysis, bank reconciliation, and ledger management. Knowledge of payroll processing procedures combined with experience in tax compliance related to payroll activities. Ability to perform 10-key typing accurately for data entry tasks and account reconciliation processes. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in financial report writing and record keeping. Strong understanding of financial concepts such as double-entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and general ledger management.
