We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting/Payroll Assistant to process payroll, provide accounts payable support including inventory accounts payable, and benefits admin support in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. This role requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines. This is a full-time, on-site position five days a week. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of payroll experience along with accounts payable and general administrative support within HR or accounting functions. Essential Responsibilities Payroll Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule Maintain payroll records and employee data Review timesheets, earnings, deductions, and payroll changes for accuracy Assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations, and year-end processing Respond to employee payroll-related questions Support compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations Benefits & HR Support Assist with benefits billing reconciliation and tracking Support onboarding and employee record maintenance Maintain confidentiality of employee information Assist with audits and reporting requests as needed Accounts Payable Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation Assist with payment processing and vendor communication Maintain organized AP files and records Support month-end reconciliation activities Qualifications 2-3 years of payroll processing experience required Experience with accounts payable functions Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to handle confidential information professionally Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll systems Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) Supportive and collaborative team environment
