Job Description

Payroll Administrative Assistant Warmel Management Company is a proud third-generation McDonald's franchise organization in California, dedicated to operational excellence, exceptional customer service, and creating opportunities for employee growth and success. We are seeking a Payroll Administrative Assistant to support payroll operations by ensuring accurate payroll processing, maintaining employee payroll records, and assisting with timekeeping and payroll-related & HR administration. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, able to maintain confidentiality, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Payroll Administration Ensure payroll activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations. Assist with the preparation, processing, and auditing of payroll on a scheduled basis. Collect, verify, and enter employee timekeeping, attendance, and payroll data. Review payroll reports for accuracy and resolve discrepancies before processing. Process employee changes, including new hires, terminations, pay rate changes, and deductions. Assist with garnishments, and other payroll-related deductions. Maintain payroll records in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, benefits, and payroll procedures. Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and reconciliation. Administrative Maintain and update employee personnel files and HR records. Coordinate and distribute payroll-related communications. Support audits by gathering and organizing payroll documentation. File and maintain confidential records and reports. • Assist with general office duties. Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred. Preferred Skills 1-3 years of payroll, administrative, accounting, or HR support experience preferred. Experience with Payroll & HRIS systems preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Strong problem-solving and time-management abilities. Dependable team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Salary Range:
$60,000 - 70,000 annually.
