Practice Coordinator | DAY | Weekly Pay Efficus inc San Francisco, CA Job Details Contract $20 - $22 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid orientation Qualifications High school diploma or GED Medical-surgical Clinical data entry Patient care Quality data entry Customer data entry Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Practice Coordinator to support a busy Hematology, Blood & Marrow Transplant, and Cellular Therapy clinic. This is a fast-paced, patient-facing role requiring exceptional communication, scheduling, and administrative skills. The ideal candidate will thrive in a healthcare environment, provide outstanding customer service, and efficiently manage patient scheduling, phone communications, and front desk operations. Key Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and providers. Manage high-volume incoming phone calls and route them appropriately. Schedule, reschedule, and coordinate patient appointments. Perform front desk and administrative support functions. Verify and update patient information in electronic medical records. Assist with clinic workflow and patient check-in/check-out processes. Maintain accurate documentation and records. Provide excellent customer service while addressing patient inquiries and concerns. Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure efficient operations. Qualifications Required Minimum 6 months of healthcare administrative, medical office, or customer service experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with computer systems and data entry. Preferred Previous experience working in an outpatient healthcare setting. Experience with electronic health record systems, particularly APeX/Epic. Prior experience supporting high-volume clinics or medical offices.
Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
