Multistate Payroll Consultant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Multistate Payroll Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a few years of experience in multistate payroll tax management and possess excellent project follow-through skills. This role requires someone who is a self-starter, persistent, and capable of ensuring tax filings are accurate and timely. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $35 to $50 per hour.

Responsibilities:

Maintain tax registrations across 917 tax locations, including handling new hires, employee moves, and terminations. Reach out to various states and agencies to obtain log-in information and ensure compliance. Audit and maintain Form 941 filings. Audit and maintain employee 401K contributions in empower. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate payroll processing. Utilize Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of multistate payroll tax experience. Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Professional maturity and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Familiarity with UKG is a plus. Proficiency in Excel for data manipulation and reporting. REF #48964 #LI-POST #ZR
