Payroll & Accounting Coordinator (Hourly) Help Bring Authentic Japanese Omusubi to the U.S. About Hyakunousha Hyakunousha (百農社) is the parent company of OMUSUBI , a brand dedicated to connecting people and enriching communities through Japanese culinary culture. Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll & Accounting Coordinator to support our Los Angeles team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate payroll processing while assisting with accounting operations and administrative projects. This position is ideal for someone with strong payroll experience who is comfortable supporting basic accounting tasks and contributing to operational projects, including new store openings. You will work closely with the GM of HR & Operations and play a key role in supporting our growing U.S. business. Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll Administration Process payroll using ADP on a biweekly/semi-monthly basis Ensure compliance with California wage and hour laws Maintain payroll records, reporting, and audit documentation Respond to employee inquiries and resolve payroll discrepancies Finance & Accounting Support Enter and manage vendor invoices in NetSuite Assist with accounts payable processes and documentation Maintain accurate financial records and tracking systems Support basic reconciliations and accounting coordination Operations & Administrative Support Support new store opening projects and coordination efforts Assist with onboarding/offboarding administrative tasks Contribute to process improvements and cross-functional initiatives Support ad hoc projects led by the GM of HR & Operations Qualifications 3-5 years of payroll experience (ADP preferred) Experience with accounts payable or basic accounting functions Familiarity with NetSuite or similar systems preferred Strong knowledge of California payroll regulations Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment Experience in hospitality, retail, or food industries is a plus Work Environment Based in our Los Angeles office Primarily desk-based work with cross-functional collaboration Involvement in operational support for store openings Our Culture At Hyakunousha, we work as

Compensation Hourly Rate:
