This role will support end-to-end payroll processing and ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness across a multi-state employee population. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Paycom and can step in quickly to manage payroll operations in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Process biweekly and/or semi-monthly payroll in Paycom for a multi-state workforce Ensure payroll is completed accurately and on time, including wages, bonuses, commissions, and deductions Maintain and audit employee payroll records for accuracy and compliance Handle payroll taxes , garnishments, benefits deductions, and applicable withholdings Perform payroll reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Support year-end payroll processes , including W-2 preparation Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations Qualifications 3+ years of payroll processing experience
Required:
Direct experience with Paycom (implementation or heavy usage preferred) Experience processing payroll for multi-state employees Strong understanding of payroll laws, taxes, and compliance requirements Proficiency in Excel (lookups, basic formulas, data analysis) High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality Strong problem-solving and organizational skills Ability to manage deadlines and work independently All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
