Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to support accurate and timely payroll processing for our client's organization. This role is responsible for maintaining payroll records, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations, and assisting employees with payroll-related questions. Based on general knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
Process weekly, biweekly, or semimonthly payroll accurately and on time. Based on general knowledge.

Maintain employee payroll records, including earnings, deductions, tax information, and direct deposit details. Based on general knowledge.

Review timesheets, wage calculations, and payroll adjustments for accuracy. Based on general knowledge.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. Based on general knowledge.

Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, taxes, and time reporting. Based on general knowledge.

Reconcile payroll reports and assist with month-end and year-end activities. Based on general knowledge.

Coordinate with HR and accounting teams on new hires, terminations, benefits deductions, and payroll changes. Based on general knowledge.

Support audits and prepare payroll documentation as needed. Based on general knowledge.
Qualifications:
2+ years of payroll processing or payroll administration experience. Based on general knowledge.

Knowledge of payroll systems and timekeeping software. Based on general knowledge.

Understanding of payroll laws, tax withholding, and compliance requirements. Based on general knowledge.

Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Based on general knowledge.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Based on general knowledge.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Based on general knowledge.

Associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, human resources, or related field preferred. Based on general knowledge.
