This role is ideal for individuals who are efficient, detail-oriented, and comfortable working at a quick pace. This is a contractor position (1099). You are responsible for your own taxes. Raises Every 2.5 Weeks Based on Performance. You will be responsible for handling heavy equipment, operating warehouse management systems, and supporting order fulfillment processes with energy and precision.

What You'll Do:

Sort, organize, and tag (graph/log) large volumes of items quickly and accurately Photograph inventory for tracking and resale purposes Pick up thrift and resale items from multiple vendor drop-off locations Drive a company vehicle for scheduled pickups (when assigned) Duties Conduct inventory management activities, including stock counting, cycle counts, and inventory control using RF scanners and warehouse management systems such as AS400. Assist with shipping & receiving tasks by preparing shipments, verifying orders through order picker devices, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. Support warehouse distribution operations by stocking shelves, picking & packing orders, and organizing materials for efficient retrieval and dispatch. Maintain safety standards by adhering to OSHA regulations, mechanical knowledge protocols, and proper materials handling procedures during all operations. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow efficiency and ensure compliance with warehouse management system protocols. Perform maintenance checks on heavy equipment and report any mechanical issues to ensure continuous operation. Skills Strong experience in inventory management, stock control, and warehouse distribution processes. Proficiency in operating reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, order pickers, and other heavy equipment safely. Knowledge of warehouse management systems such as AS400 or similar platforms for inventory tracking and order processing. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations and heavy machinery operation. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic maintenance checks on equipment. Experience in shipping & receiving procedures including load & unload activities and order fulfillment tasks. Ability to handle physical demands such as heavy lifting and prolonged standing while maintaining attention to detail during stocking, picking & packing activities.
