Job Description

Senior Payroll Tax Analyst Chewy 3 ( ) Plantation, FL # R29532 Position summary ations, research, correct discrepancies, and prepare reconciliations. Responsible for ensuring the execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual workers' comp audit and tax incentive requests. RSU processing, including pre-payments/reversals, running integrations, researching, and correcting tax variances. Create and maintain complex Workday and payroll system reports. Maintain, test, and implement payroll tax updates, functionality, and process improvements. Research regulatory changes and assess the impact on payroll systems and processes. Lead and support payroll projects, system testing, and issue resolution across teams. Mentor and guide payroll team members; support management with departmental goals, projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related area, or relevant field. An appropriate combination of education and work experience will be considered. 5+ years of experience processing high-volume, multi-state payroll and managing payroll tax for mid- to large-size companies. Hands-on and strong knowledge/experience with ADP Smart Compliance, Workday, and KRONOS. Experience of federal and state regulations related to salaries, wages, taxes, benefits, and other payroll-related matters is required. Experience in payroll accounting. Consistently achieves goals by prioritizing work and resources appropriately. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word) Able to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with tight deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work collaboratively.
