This role will focus on identifying data sources, building scalable data pipelines, optimizing database performance, and delivering high-quality financial reporting solutions. This role will focus on identifying data sources, building scalable data pipelines, optimizing database performance, and delivering high-quality financial reporting solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support financial reporting and analytics initiatives. Identify, acquire, transform, and integrate data from multiple enterprise systems. Develop and optimize relational data models, schemas, and databases for reporting and analytical workloads. Create and maintain ETL processes ensuring data accuracy, quality, and reliability. Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data pipeline performance and operational efficiency. Develop Power BI datasets, semantic models, dashboards, and reports for finance and business stakeholders. Partner closely with Finance, Reporting, and Technology teams to understand business requirements and deliver reporting solutions. Support financial reporting processes, reconciliations, controls, and audit-related requirements. Evaluate and leverage AI tools and technologies to improve data engineering, reporting, and analytics workflows. Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
3-4 years of experience in a technical role supporting Financial Reporting, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, or Analytics. Strong experience with AWS data services, including AWS Glue Strong proficiency in T-SQL, including: Complex query development Stored procedures Views Performance tuning and troubleshooting
Preferred Qualifications:
Insurance and/or Financial Services industry experience. Experience with Oracle ERP and Oracle EPM environments. Familiarity with Smart View for financial reporting and analysis.
