We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to join our team at our corporate office in West Des Moines, IA. In this vital role, you will: Process and oversee biweekly payroll for four companies Work with employees at all levels to support timely, accurate payroll and respond promptly to questions Partner with the HR team on payroll processing, system setup, and data maintenance Help improve payroll software, processes, workflows, system functionality, and reporting Manage administrative tasks related to payroll taxes, general ledger entries for payroll and benefits, and agency reporting Apply payroll compliance knowledge to strengthen payroll procedures This role requires proven payroll processing experience, strong knowledge of deductions and payroll systems, and experience building or improving payroll systems and practices. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and firm deadlines are also required. Bilingual English and Spanish skills are strongly preferred. Compensation contingent upon skills and experiences.

From $70,000.00 per year
