Payroll Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team in Overland Park, Kansas. • Process payroll for approximately 500 employees across multiple companies, adhering to various handbooks and guidelines.
• Utilize Paylocity software to manage taxes, submit garnishments, and ensure seamless payroll operations.
• Handle bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll cycles, including timesheet checks and reconciliations.
• Follow established payroll processes while offering suggestions for improvement when appropriate.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all payroll-related tasks to ensure compliance and error-free processing.
• Collaborate with a close-knit team, contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
• Use Excel tools such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions to analyze and organize payroll data.
• Train on Paylocity software as needed, adapting to company-specific procedures and requirements.
• Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
