Job Description
Mon-Fri 8-5 POSITION SUMMARY Manage daily task for bi-weekly payroll, with general accounting tasks, including posting journals and reconciliations. Maintain capital assets and minor equipment listings and assist with ordering new equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions Statement(s) Prepare payroll documentation for 26 bi-weekly pay cycles, update employee information, process benefit contributions entries. Reconcile benefit deductions to entity invoices and financial reporting. Review and confirm accurate completion of timecards. Notify HR director of inconsistencies. In coordination with HR, ensure annual benefit enrollment selection is updated and accurate. Track garnishments, FLMA, part-time hours as needed. Reconcile payroll employer memos and employee contributions in sage to monthly ADP documents and vendor invoices. Complete review of annual tax reporting documents including ACA reporting. Compile information needed for annual Worker's Compensation audit process. Assist HR and meet with auditors. Cross train for absences and keep an updated payroll procedures manual. Prepare journals to record benefit allowance accounts annually and as necessary for employment changes. Maintain capital asset inventory listing and minor equipment log, prepare journal to record disposals. Coordinate with departments the reconciliation of telephone and computer lan expenses and process quarterly payments. Confidentiality, reliability and punctuality necessary for success. Education:
Associates Degree Experience:
Two years related experienceSKILLS & ABILITIES
Experience with Microsoft products including Word and Excel. Experience in payroll software (ADP) or similar software package. Knowledge of basic accounting principles and standards. Prefer Associates degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting.Similar jobs in Wichita, KS
