Job Description

Part-Time Payroll Specialist LHH is looking for a part-time, experienced payroll specialist for a client in Northern Kentucky. This part-time Payroll Specialist position supports a multi-state, multi-location organization with approximately 500 employees. This role is responsible for accurate and timely payroll processing using ADP and requires a strong understanding of payroll compliance, tax regulations, and high-volume payroll environments. The schedule consists of full days on Monday and Tuesday, working fully on-site in Florence, Kentucky. This position will pay between $28 and $35 per hour.
Job Duties:
Process full-cycle payroll using ADP for a multi-state employee population, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Review, validate, and reconcile timekeeping data, payroll inputs, and reports prior to submission Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, tax changes, and direct deposit information Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws, including wage and hour regulations and multi-state tax requirements Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and payroll adjustments Process garnishments, levies, and other required withholdings accurately Reconcile payroll data, generate reports, and assist with audits as needed Partner with HR and accounting to resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting Respond to employee payroll-related inquiries in a timely and professional manner Support payroll-related reporting, including tax filings, W-2s, and other compliance documentation
Requirements:
3+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a multi-state, multi-location environment Experience processing payroll through ADP is required Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and tax compliance High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general payroll reporting tools Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information If you are qualified and interested in learning more, please apply now.
Pay Details:
