Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Administrator/Administrative Support to join our CPA firm based in Hammond, LA. As a Payroll Specialist your responsibilities will include:
Payroll Processing:
Manage & process payroll using our payroll software. Ensure accuracy in data entry and payroll calculations. Generate and distribute payroll reports.
Tax Compliance:
Prepare and submit quarterly payroll tax filings, including federal, state, and local taxes. Answering phone calls, monitoring and responding to emails on a priority basis. Complete general insurance and payroll audits. Assisting with preparation of 1099 forms. Ordering of office supplies.
  • Duties for this position are not limited to the tasks listed above.
The selected candidate will be subject to perform other tasks pertaining to the job as needed.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday; 8:00AM - 5:00
PM Requirements:
  • 2 years clerical experience required
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs (Excel, Word, etc.)
