Job Description

The Payroll Administrator plays an important role by overseeing all payroll operations, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. This role serves as a vital connection to employees, fostering trust while maintaining compliance with payroll regulations. It plays a critical part in supporting employee satisfaction, retention, and overall organizational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Process weekly payroll for multiple U.S. entities and biweekly payroll for CanadaApply and maintain accurate payroll deductions, including taxes, benefits, 401k, charitable contributions, and garnishmentsMaintain accurate payroll records and documentation, including payroll changes and reportingEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulationsRespond to employee questions related to pay statements, tax withholding, PTO, and payroll policiesPrepare payroll reports and reconciliations to support audits, payroll tax balancing, and management requestsPartner with the HR team to process payroll-related changes for new hires, terminations, promotions, leave status updates, and other changes
Basic Qualifications:
Associates degree or relevant certification.

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Payroll administration.

Analytical ability with strong attention to detail.

Knowledge of payroll procedures, tax laws, and employment regulations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.

Proficiency in payroll software (preferably UKG or Oracle).Experience implementing and migrating HRIS systems.
