Responsibilities:
Process payroll accurately and timely for all employees, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws. Manage and maintain employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in pay rates. Prepare and distribute payroll reports, tax filings, and other relevant documentation. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and deductions. Collaborate with HR and other departments to resolve payroll discrepancies. Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and best practices.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Payroll Clerk or in a similar role. Solid understanding of payroll best practices and state/federal regulations. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced, high volume atmosphere.
