PAYROLL COORDINATOR
Job Description The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll while supporting billing functions and general office operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining compliance, supporting internal teams, and delivering a high level of service to employees and clients. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage deadlines, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset in a fast-paced environment.Reports directly to:
Team Leader Assistant Manager Sales Manager Primary Responsibilities 1. Process weekly payroll for a high volume of employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness 2. Review and verify timekeeping records; identify and resolve discrepancies 3. Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures 4. Assist with invoicing and light billing functions, including data entry and reconciliation 5. Respond to payroll-related questions from employees and clients in a timely and professional manner 6. Support general office operations, including administrative and clerical tasks as needed 7. Collaborate with internal teams to improve workflow efficiency and accuracy 8. Prioritize tasks effectively to meet strict payroll and billing deadlines Required Skills- 2+ years of payroll, accounting, or administrative experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hourBenefits:
