Job Description

Position OverviewWe're partnering with a client seeking a Payroll & HR Specialist to support a team of 50+ employees. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented who enjoys owning payroll while also contributing across key HR functions like onboarding, benefits, and employee support.
Payroll:
Process weekly payroll accurately and on time, including wages, bonuses, stipends, and time off using ADP.Maintain and update employee records (pay rates, tax withholdings, direct deposits, etc.)Manage payroll deductions, including taxes and benefitsEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulationsPartner with leadership to ensure alignment between payroll, timekeeping, and employee data
HR & Benefits:
Serve as a go-to resource for employee questions related to payroll and benefitsAdminister benefits programs (medical, dental, 403(b), life, disability, COBRA, etc.)Reconcile benefit invoices and ensure accurate deductionsSupport onboarding and general HR administrationMaintain accurate, confidential employee recordsEnsure compliance with HR-related regulations (FMLA, ACA, HIPAA, ADA, etc.)
