Job Description

Payroll Administrator Description We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to support accurate and timely payroll operations for our team in Severna Park, Maryland. This part-time, hybrid position is well suited for someone who is highly organized, comfortable managing payroll across multiple states, and confident working independently. The role plays a key part in ensuring employees are paid correctly each week while maintaining strong compliance and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Process weekly payroll accurately and on schedule for employees across multiple states
  • Maintain payroll records, review entries for accuracy, and resolve discrepancies before final submission
  • Administer end-to-end payroll activities, including data updates, earnings, deductions, and related adjustments
  • Use ADP Workforce Now to manage payroll transactions and support ongoing payroll administration
  • Partner with internal teams to gather timekeeping and employee data needed for payroll processing
  • Monitor payroll practices to help ensure compliance with applicable wage, tax, and employment requirements
  • Respond to payroll-related questions from employees and provide clear, timely support
  • Assist with payroll reporting, audits, and other administrative tasks tied to payroll operations. Requirements
  • Experience managing full-cycle payroll from preparation through final processing
  • Background handling payroll for a workforce of approximately 100 to 500 employees
  • Demonstrated success processing payroll for employees in multiple states
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under recurring deadlines
  • Well-developed organizational skills and a self-directed approach to daily responsibilities
  • Ability to work a part-time schedule of 20 to 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, in a hybrid environment.
