This position is responsible for accurate and timely payroll processing while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Process full-cycle payroll on a biweekly or semi-monthly basis for multi-state employees Review timekeeping data and resolve discrepancies with employees and managers Maintain accurate payroll records including earnings, taxes, and deductions Handle wage garnishments, tax notices, and unemployment claims Support internal and external payroll audits and ensure compliance Administer PTO accruals and verify balances for accuracy Assist with benefits deductions and 401(k) contributions and reporting Reconcile payroll data with general ledger and vendor invoices Respond to employee payroll-related questions in a timely manner Maintain confidentiality and ensure data integrity within payroll systems Qualifications 2+ years of payroll processing experience (multi-state preferred) Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, or similar Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance standards High attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office tools Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to meet deadlines and manage sensitive information Preferred Qualifications Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) Experience supporting benefits administration or payroll-related accounting functions Background in a high-volume or multi-entity environment
Pay Details:
